Listening and Learning
We must sit and listen to Him.
He tends to give us the wisdom our heart longs for,
When our minds are quiet of the world.
We must sit and listen to His word.
He gives us the wisdom we cry out for,
That the world of flesh seems to lack.
Wisdom is knowing when a desire
Is of the flesh or of the spirit.
This knowledge should be sharper than any double-edged sword.
We must look out for one another and ourselves with this knowledge.
For, as disciples, we are different.
He threw us out into a world of wrathful and aggressive wolves.
We shall persevere throughout our journeys.
For we have His word and answered prayers,
To guide us and be the light when our own wisdom is lacking.
